Money Success Demands Intention

When it comes to how you deal with money and accumulate wealth, your intentionality around money combined with your emotion is directly responsible for your success. In other words, your commitment and what you say about how you will deal with money and your emotions around it determines your money success.

As you start your day with intent, a clear set goal, you must look at money and your financial situation in the same way. At Bloom Strategies, we refer to this focus on intentionality as Your Money Purpose.

As my good friend Dr. Sukhi Muker says, “Conscious and clear intent enhanced with elevated emotion equals life mastery”. It’s all about your goals and the good feelings you attach to them that allows you money success.

This world of intentionality can be applied to any area of your life that you would like to see transformed, but for today the conversation is about the game of money and building wealth.

Money Success within Grasp

Money Success Bloom Strategies 03Yes, money success is within your grasp by applying this formula.

Before we dive deep into the topic, let us first define what we mean by intention here. According to the central hive mind (Wikipedia), “Intention is a mental state that represents a commitment to carrying out an action or actions in the future. Intention involves mental activities such as planning and forethought”.

Applying that definition to money would mean that you would have in place a mental and physical process and be committed to carrying out certain actions or activities that would have money flow through your personal economy in a predetermined manner. Combine that with elevated emotion and you will have obtained the license to money success.

This means that the movement of money in and around your life, or your personal economy, is not moving by accident. Instead the activity is thought out and moving in an intentional direction – your intentional direction. It’s about regaining your power back and handling the direction of your own resources.

What is Your Money Programming?

But the most important thing to remember is that your beliefs are responsible for the programming that you currently have in place. It’s the best time to take a step back and ask yourself what your beliefs are about money? There can be many mindsets that we operate on but the two money umbrella mindsets are: scarcity and abundance.

Do you think money is fixed and can run out anytime soon or is money in ever growing expanse? Where and how did your beliefs form? Before we become successful with our intentions, we must first become clear about our beliefs and make necessary changes.

In our experience at Bloom, the best collectors of money are people with a belief system that is anchored in abundance and flow. These individuals also look at money like a tool, and take the time to learn how to use it. Perfect abundance.

The Love of Money

The old trapping belief is “For the love of money is the root of all evil”. Note that the verb used here is to love, not to have and to me there is a big difference.

I don’t love money but I do enjoy having it around because I recognize its importance in my life and the quality of life that it can provide for my family. For me, money is a tool and I can choose how, why and when to use that tool. That’s not evil at all—it’s enabling and empowering.

Try this on for a moment and see if it fits for you. “Money is simply a tool! Of all the tools in my shed it is the one that will assist most in providing financial freedom. I will set out with the intention of collecting money into my life along with the education and opportunities that go along with building wealth”. How does that sound? Does it feel expansive and abundant?

Intent Requires Work

Money Success Bloom Strategies 02That can be a starting point and you can build on it from there. No successful enterprise has ever been built without forethought and the commitment to completing certain actions. Mixed in is always your elevated emotion that becomes the driver for what you are up to. Success is all about feeling good with what you do. It’s these emotions that fuel you through the happy and tough times.

One of my new favourite sayings (borrowed from Wim Hof, “the Ice Man”) is, “you won’t get it for free”. Like anything worth doing, there will always be work involved—and hard work at that. I choose to view this work as play time and with that I can make it into a game—the game of collecting money.

How do you manoeuvre through all of this? At Bloom, we have a workbook specifically designed to help put the intention back into your finances. The workbook is an exercise in reflection and re-evaluation about how money can serve you and is 100% intended for your money success.

Take a look at what we can offer and let’s make those intentions a reality.
